Doctor Leucht has has been practicing at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the Technische Universität München, Munich, Germany since 1994. In 2002/2003 he spent a year as a research associate at the Zucker Hillside Hospital, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in New York. He was appointed associated professor in July 2011, and he has been vice-chairman of the department since 2009. He is also an editor of the Cochrane Schizophrenia Group.
